The Great Southern Hotel kicks off the Funk & Soul edition of A Day Well Spent with a double bill showcasing two accomplished artists whose styles span soul, R&B, folk and blues.
Opening the evening is Hannah Tregret, a mesmerising singer-songwriter whose soulful voice and accomplished musicianship create performances that are both intimate and deeply engaging. Performing as a self-accompanied artist, she blends singer-songwriter storytelling with jazz sophistication, folk authenticity and blues-inspired expression. Her distinctive sound is rooted in authentic emotion, musical integrity and undeniable artistry, bringing warmth, nuance and connection to every song.
Taking over from 7:30pm, Blessie Pica brings more than a decade of live performance experience gained across Australia, Europe and Asia. Blending acoustic R&B, smooth pop favourites and nostalgic throwbacks from the '90s and early 2000s, Blessie's carefully curated sets are packed with rich vocals, familiar songs and feel-good grooves. Her natural stage presence and ability to read a crowd make her a captivating performer in any setting.

Jaspar Gubbay is a Sydney-born musician, dancer and performer whose groove-driven approach to live music draws inspiration from funk, disco, rock and hip hop. Whether performing original music or reimagining familiar influences, Jaspar brings an infectious sense of fun to the stage which will be right at home at The Rutledge Bar & Eats. His performances are built around movement, connection and good times, blending musicianship with a natural ability to engage a crowd.

The Berry Hotel hosts one of the standout sessions of the weekend, bringing together two exciting acts for an afternoon of groove, soul and contemporary songwriting.
Saturn Chromatic is an emerging Sydney-based live project centred around groove, rhythm and movement. Built for the stage, the band combines deep-pocket rhythms, playful musical arrangements and an understated confidence that makes their performances both engaging and effortless.
With a sound that balances feel and momentum, Saturn Chromatic brings a fresh perspective to contemporary groove-based music. Their relaxed yet compelling approach creates the perfect atmosphere for a Sunday afternoon session, making them a fitting support for Velvet Bloom at one of the weekend's headline events.
Headlining the afternoon is Velvet Bloom, a Melbourne-based genre-defying collective whose music weaves together elements of soul, funk, indie, folk and pop. At the centre of the band's sound is vocalist and songwriter Maddy Herbert, whose emotive vocals and poetic lyricism bring warmth, vulnerability and depth to every performance.
Backing Herbert is a powerhouse ensemble of musicians who each contribute their own creative voice to Velvet Bloom's rich and expansive sound. Together they blend groove, texture, melody and atmosphere into performances that feel both intimate and uplifting. Drawing on influences from across soul, folk, indie and contemporary pop, Velvet Bloom create music that is immersive, emotionally resonant and effortlessly captivating.

Wollongong outfit Autumn Sunset opens this evening session at the Great Southern Hotel with a vibrant blend of indie rock, jazz, funk and soul. Their colourful, groove-filled sound provides the perfect launchpad for the evening ahead.
Headlining the session is Sydney soul outfit CINTA. A diva schooled in the blues, CINTA has become known for commanding live performances, inventive arrangements and songs that explore desire, independence and the complexities of modern relationships. Across two acclaimed albums, the six-piece act has developed a rich and distinctive sound that balances emotional depth with irresistible groove.
