About the event

Leon Holstegge and Harry Cooper come together as a dynamic jazz duo built on improvisation and musical interplay. Holstegge is a versatile multi-instrumentalist and composer known for his work across Australia’s contemporary jazz scene, while Sydney saxophonist Harry Cooper brings an energetic approach shaped by years of live performance. Together they will deliver an intimate set of jazz standards and blues influenced improvisation at The Berry General Store.

Your $20 ticket includes entry, live music and food, with a full bar available on the night. Kids eat free and dietary requirements can be catered for with prior notice. Bookings essential as spaces are limited. Book online.

Set within the character filled surrounds of The Rutledge Bar & Eats, this intimate jazz session is a perfect way to ease into the evening. Sydney guitarist Jeremy Sawkins brings decades of experience within Australia’s jazz community, known for his lyrical playing and deep improvisational style shaped by years on the contemporary jazz scene.

Settle in for an evening of live music at Great Southern Hotel Berry with South Coast duo Blue Mallee. Exploring atmospheric interpretations of jazz and blues, the pair combine rich vocal harmonies with layered instrumentation to create immersive musical landscapes.

About the event

Spend a relaxed Sunday afternoon in the Front Bar at The Berry Hotel with live jazz from Illawarra vocalist and pianist Freyja Garbett. Representing the modern jazz scene, Garbett’s performances balance rich harmonic textures, expressive phrasing and contemporary jazz sensibilities across three 45 minute sets.

Free entry. Settle in and enjoy Happy Hour drinks while soaking up the music in the heart of Berry. Bookings not required.

The Garden Berry

The Garden Berry welcomes Ella’s Holiday for an elegant afternoon of jazz and blues in their leafy covered courtyard. Performing out of the Southern Highlands, the duo offers a refined vocal approach rooted in jazz and blues storytelling, bringing warmth, tone and interpretive depth to classic song traditions. Their live set runs from 3pm – 4pm.

Free entry. The kitchen will be open with grazing and nibble options available, alongside Happy Hour drink specials from the fully licensed bar. Bookings from 2:30pm are highly recommended. Book online.

Il Locale turns up the energy with an afternoon dedicated to classic blues. Jr & The Jewel Tones open from 2:30pm – 3:30pm, bringing a lively ensemble sound built around expressive guitar, strong rhythmic interplay and an infectious sense of swing.

From 3:45pm – 4:45pm, the Frank Sultana Blues Band takes the stage. Based on the NSW South Coast, Sultana is one of Australia’s most celebrated contemporary blues musicians, known for powerful guitar work, gritty vocals and a deep connection to traditional blues.

Round out the weekend at Great Southern Hotel Berry with an evening of blues and soul. Wollongong based guitarist and vocalist Tyler Hauptberger opens from 5:15pm – 6:15pm, drawing on timeless blues traditions with warm, engaging performances and expressive musicianship.

From 6.30pm – 7.30pm, Tall Shaun & The Resolution bring a high energy blend of blues and soul. Hailing from the NSW South Coast, the four piece band delivers commanding vocals, dynamic guitar work and a tight rhythm section that captures the groove of classic rhythm and blues.
